The Muskoka Chair has been one of  my favorite projects. This particular design has a curved back and seat for added comfort. Commonly made of pine the chair is sturdy, lightweight and oh so comfortable. It's easier to build than you might think. With these plans anyone should be able to build this chair in about 10-15 hours.

Some of the fondest memories of my grandfather are of him sitting in one of these types of Chairs. With arms more like tables, they make an ideal platform for a beverage and a light snack out on the porch. .With it's gently curved back, this particular design is positively the most comfortable style you can build.
